Hey!
Thanks for checking us out. We are a flatland skimboard company based out of Tacoma, WA, hope you like what we've got going.
Check out our website for more details www.dbskimboards.com.
We've been making skimboards since 2003 and in the last few years have upped production and quality and are really pushing to make this company the best it can be. We are a rider owned and operated company. We are the ones out there testing the products we’re making, trying to improve them and come up with new and innovative ideas about what we should do next.
Here's the line up for 2007: We are continuing our line of foam core flatland boards that were a hit last year. After riding these nearly indestructible boards for over a season, our team still loves them and have good things to say about them. It’s nice to see a board that can take the abuse of multiple seasons of riding, never lose it’s rocker or warp weird, and hold up like none other. In addition to these, we've come up with a wood line of flatland boards for those who aren't quite ready to drop the money for the high end boards. These are going to be ideal for the riders ranging from just getting in to flatland skimboarding to the advanced riders looking for a board that will hold up for some new tricks as well as on the rails after some harsh abuse.
We're holding our 4th Annual Competition on Saturday June 16th, 2007, at Dash Point State Park. Then with another event in the works for July 22nd at Chambers Creek in University Place, WA. We are going to be holding learn to skimboard summer day camps during most weeks and demo clinics at locations around the northwest on most weekends, as well as attending as many comps as we can fit in. For more info on the camp visit www.dbskimcamp.com, and for more info on the skim comps check out our website or soon to be up flatland skim tour website.
Anyway, hope you enjoy some the photos and videos and shot us an email with any questions/comments/notes/inquiries/stories/if you want to talk/ etc.
See you around,
